Mark is the head instructor and owner of KTEAM. He has an extensive history teaching grappling. Mark has competed since he was in intermediate school under the world renown Shobukan Judo Club and also trained and taught Judo both in Japan and in Hawaii before beginning Relson Gracie Jiu Jitsu under Mike and Chris Onzuka in '99. He later moved to Kaneohe and studied with Ronn Shiraki when Ronn opened KTEAM in 2002. If his face looks familiar, it's because Mark is also the host and producer of FCTV or Fighters' Club Television where he pursues his passion in MMA both behind and in front of the camera. Mark also hosts Fighters' Club Radio on 1500am every Monday morning from 9am - 10am.

Kimo Kreis
BLACK BELT GRACIE JIU JITSU 14 yrs
Kimo is KTeam's resident black belt, and started with Relson in 1995. He spent the next few yrs studying directly under Relson before moving to Northern California in 1998 where he began practicing at Ralph Gracie's school in Mountain View. He stayed at Ralph's for two yrs before returning back to Hawaii in 2000. Kimo also brings a vast knowledge of tournament style Jiu Jitsu as he has successfully competed both nationally and locally in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Submission Wrestling. The culmination of both Relson's street style Jiu Jitsu and Ralph's aggresive and tough approach to practice have shaped Kimo into one of KTeam's most technical teachers and greatest assets.

Jeff is regarded as one of the most technical and tough Relson Gracie instructors on the island. He is well known for his prowess on the local BJJ circuit and has place if not won all the competitions he's ever entered. He is also father to Blake who is a student at UPTOWN's Kid program.

Brad Scott

WRESTLING COACH
Brad is the head instructor of the Intermediate KTEAM Kid's class and associate instructor of the adult's class. He has competed and won on almost every level of grappling from being a state wrestling finalist to BJJ Pan American blue belt Gold medalist. Brad truly loves teaching and is a pillar of coaching and instruction at KTEAM, Shobukan Judo Club, and Kamehameha Wrestling.

5+ yrs of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, although started with Relson over 13 yrs ago returned after Haiatus. Kids instructor 4+ yrs. Highlights include: Travel coach for KTeam Kids. Events include: Maui Open, Santa Cruz BJJ Open, Grappler's Quest (Las Vegas), and Gracie World Championships (Los Angeles).

Mikey Low

Mikey is the father and coach of 4 time Hawaii State Champion Wrestler, Brandon Low. When Mike isn't busy being a Honolulu Policeman, he has helped coach 2 four-time state champions, 3 freshman state champions, 3 three-time state champions, and 2 two-time state champions. Mainly, he is known for his passion for coaching.

Loa is one of the pillars of Kaneoho Team and serves as an associate instructor in both the kids and the adult programs.

Competed in Naga, Pacific international, Hawaii state championshipshe and won the 'gi' and 'no-gi' NAGA championships for 2008. Level 3 ranking in Krav Maga.

Kyle Nitahara

Intermediate and Beginner Kid's Instructor at both KTEAM and UPTOWN Schools
Kyle has competed successfully in NAGA, Triple Crown, and many other local competitions. His son is also a member of the KTEAM Kids!

Scott has been training in Gracie Jiu Jitsu for the past 6 yrs and currently assists Jeff at Uptown. He has instructed and helped out with classes at the Main academy, Kaneohe academy, and Uptown academy - both kid's and adults. He is also a current Tae Kwon Do student of Glenn Uyesugi and Matt Kurano.

Scott is the KTEAM's head instructor of Judo. He is turning the stand up portion of KTEAM's curriculum into the slamming team of DOOM! His knowledge of Judo, competing successfully at the highest level in Judo has given him the tools to transform our guys into not only strong Judo players, but well tuned competitors. Scott also has competed under the KTEAM banner winning at local bjj tournaments in the past including NAGA.
